Joseph Horne

Joseph Horne, a Decatur Georgia native, graduated from Druid Hills High School. While in attendance he played football and quickly learned how to bring together a team. He began his career with Williams Brothers Concrete and Horne Construction but found his passion with Plymart Specialties. He gained great knowledge in the building industry, specializing in glass, mirror and specialties. Joseph’s vivacious personality and dedication to his work, gained him many loyal customers. Eventually encouraging him to form a partnership with lifelong friends to form Atlanta Glass and Mirror. Joseph served on the board of HomeAid Atlanta in 2016; and with over 35 years in the building industry, Joseph has made Atlanta Glass and Mirror one of the top specialties companies in the South East.

In 2012, due to numerous customer request, Joseph opened the first South Carolina location in Lexington and an additional Georgia location in Columbus. As news of Atlanta Glass and Mirror’s first grade customer service and skilled workmanship spread through the South Carolina building industry, Atlanta Glass and Mirror opened second location serving Greenville, SC just one year later, and another serving Charleston, SC in 2018.

Joseph takes great pride in his team and runs top preforming branches throughout Georgia and South Carolina with customer service as is his top priority as seen in Atlanta Glass and Mirror’s slogan, “We Reflect on You”. Joseph has reflected on his 3 children as well. Tyler, Garrett and Katherine, and along with Katherine’s husband Austin, have all followed in his footsteps, each bringing their own skills and accomplishments to the Atlanta Glass and Mirror team.

Fun Fact: Joseph resides close to the office with his wife Kim in the heart of Decatur and enjoys spending time at their farm or with his 4 beautiful grandchildren, and expecting his 5th in Spring 2024.
