Mitch Hires

Mitch Hires is the CEO of Construction Resources. Under his leadership, he oversees all CR companies including UMI, Cancos Tile & Stone, Sewell Appliances and ARD.

Construction Resources is a 54-year-old that is Atlanta-based and focused on building products that enhances the lives of builders, designers, remodelers, general contractors, property managers, fabricators, and homeowners with multiple, after-paint, specialty building and design products, with best-in-class distribution, installation, and turn-key services.

Mitch has spent over 35 years in the building products industry and brings extensive knowledge of the market, solid relationships with industry professionals and immense expertise required for further growth of distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, and sales throughout Georgia, Florida, and the eastern seaboard.

Throughout his career Mitch has served on several industry-related Boards, including The Artisan Group, Builders Club, National Association of the Remodeling Industry and Cambria Quartz Surfaces. He has been heavily involved with the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, serving as a past Executive Vice President, which led to an honorary position as a Lifetime Director in 2012. In addition, Mitch and Construction Resources are avid supporters of local industry-based charitable organizations, including HomeAid Atlanta and Sunshine on a Ranney Day.

Mitch is an Atlanta native and holds an AB in Economics from the University of Georgia. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
