French Country Influence

French Louis XIV-XV Influence
Louis XIII Robust fireplace mantel with the true Country French Appeal. The plain lintel rests on two sturdy legs rising up to deep corbels. A substantial cornice gives a strong architectural relief to the mantel.
A classic Louis XV-style mantel. The paneled legs have acanthus leaves carved at the base, and consoles carved with delicate scroll and leaf motifs at the top. The beautiful center frieze features an inverted shell surrounded by foliage.
The Bordeaux is a refined mantelpiece featuring an arched opening supported by a pair of clean, smooth columns. This mantel comes in two sizes and we offer an optional fleur-de-lus carving center detail.
