Atlanta Marble Manufacturing, Inc. was founded in 1970 when Fred Hires, Sr. bought out his business partner's portion of the business. For the next 31 years, Fred developed the business and grew offering additional cast polymer products to his list of builders. Working side-by-side with him was Fred's two sons: Mitch and Sonny who learned the business while working over the summer and after school.

After a battle with cancer , Fred past away in 2001 leaving the business to his wife, Bernice, and two sons. While a little overwhelming at first, the family jumped in and took over where Fred left off.

Today, Atlanta Marble Manufacturing Inc. is still owned and operated by the Hires family. Mitch and Sonny each have business degrees and graduated from the University of Georgia. Their mother, Bernice, is still the President of the company and is very active in the day-to-day operation.

In business for over 38 years, Atlanta Marble Manufacturing has grown to include a large variety of cast polymer products including cultured marble, cultured granite and cultured onyx. Our product line includes cast polymer vanities, whirlpool tubs, pedestal sinks, shower walls, soap dishes, shower bases and window sills.
